Younited by F-Secure will be discontinued on October 1, 2015.

Dear Customer,

F-Secure has recently sold the younited personal cloud business to Synchronoss Technologies.  The new owner will not continue to offer younited by F-Secure products to consumers.  Due to this, we are sorry to inform you that younited by F-Secure and younited events by F-Secure will no longer be available after October 1, 2015.

What do I need to do and by when?

You need to download all your content to your computer or transfer it to another storage solution on October 1, 2015 at the latest. We recommend that you do this as soon as possible.

What happens after October 1, 2015?

As we are shutting down the service on October 1, 2015, your younited subscription will expire and your account will enter a read-only period of 30 days from that date. In practice, this means that after the service shutdown, you will be able to view and download your content for another 30 days until October 30, 2015. After October 30, 2015, your younited account and its content will be deleted permanently. We therefore urge you to download all your content to your computer or transfer it to another solution as soon as possible.

What will happen to my content?

After October 30, 2015, we will delete all customer content from our servers in accordance with our Privacy Principles; that is; no copies will be made nor will any of your content be sold to or shared with any company or body.

What do I do if I see a subscription renewal message?

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to renew your subscription any longer; rather, your subscription will end on Oct 1, 2015. Please ignore any message you see about renewals.

Can I still create a younited account?

No, unfortunately you can't. As we are shutting down our younited service, creating a new account is not possible any longer. If you try to create an account -- although you are able to fill in all your personal details -- a spinning circle icon appears on the screen, and the new account is not created.

What happens if I bought a premium subscription for younited by F-Secure? Can I get a refund?

Yes, you can get a full refund on your purchase by contacting F-Secure Customer Support. Here, you can create a support request by selecting younited from the product drop-down list.
